Application Process
Applications are accepted throughout the year and reviewed and processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 10 students to allow for more individual attention.
Personal interviews with prospective students are designed to determine suitability for the program and to discuss mutual expectations also to have any questions answered.
Wellsprings College of Massage Therapy and Esthetics evaluates prospective students equally without discrimination on the basis of race, creed, ancestry, citizenship, ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital/family status or handicap.
Application forms are available from the College. Completed applications must be submitted to the College accompanied with the following:
- 1 official copy of your high school transcript or equivalent
- 1 official copy of all post secondary transcripts
- 1 copy of your resume
- 3 original letters of reference
- 4 recent color photos (Size 3cm x 3.5cm)
- Photocopy of ID containing proof of birthdate
- Photocopy of Ontario health card
- Medical note from your family Doctor, stating that you are in;
“good health and free of communicable diseases”
- A non refundable application fee of $100.00 Canadian dollars, which is put toward your tuition upon acceptance
- Minimum of 1500 words to a maximum of 2000 word essay. It must be in the English language, type written and double spaced. Topic choices are below:
1. “Why I want to become a Massage Therapist”
2. “What do I have to contribute to the Health Care profession”
Deadline
Applications must be received a minimum of two weeks prior to course commencement.
Tax Deduction
A student enrolled at the College may claim a tuition tax credit for any tuition paid by the student for that year. An official income tax receipt will be issued to all students.
Advanced Standing
Will be determined on an individual basis. Each credit transfer is subject to a $100.00 examination fee. A maximum of 40% of the curriculum is allowed for transfers.
