There is a renewed interest in the importance of personal wellness and mental balance in our overall health. People are spending more time and money on alternative methods of enhancing beauty – inside and out! This recent trend has created a demand for trained professionals, knowledgeable in the therapeutic practices encompassing the exciting field of Esthetics. Estheticians are in demand all over North America and the demand is increasing.

An Esthetician designates someone who has undergone complete professional training in caring for and treating healthy skin. In Ontario, becoming an Esthetician means going to a ministry approved school. Wellsprings College provides a ministry approved program which enables successful students to become practicing Estheticians.

The Esthetics and Cosmetology program is 950 hours in length and can be completed on a full time basis in 6 months (27 weeks) or on a part-time basis at the student’s own pace. Because Wellsprings College has a close working relationship with WellSprings Spa, an internationally acclaimed spa & salon chain, students will have the opportunity to do a co-operative program. This will let students gain real world experience in the esthetics industry. The co-op is 100 hours in length.
